Airclima has more than 20 years of experience in Belgium and abroad in designing, building and maintaining cooling installation in a wide variety of sectors.

Carlo Cuvelie co-founded the business in 1998. It was his childhood’s dream to start his own business. ‘What attracted me in the past – and I still like this a lot – is the global picture: developing the vision, translating this into a strategy and finally executing the plan with success remains a big challenge. As an entrepreneur, I think it’s exciting to work with people, employees as well as clients. The mix of finance, sales and the contact with suppliers keeps on triggering me.”

In 2013, Michel Cuvelie became co-director in 2013. He was already working in the company for a long time and felt particularly attracted by the variety of tasks as an SME director. “I think it’s important to work with a driven team of experts, focusing on quality and client satisfaction. This gives me a lot of energy.”

Carlo and Michel have the ambition to make Airclima grow in a balanced way, but also pay a lot of attention to the friendly character of their business.

“In fact, we are like a football team. Everybody knows his job,” says Michel, “but we don’t have any backups. Nobody’s sitting on the bench at Airclima.”

“And what makes me most proud”, adds Carlo, “is that our clients always introduce us as their partner. We really don’t feel like a supplier thanks to the long and intense preparatory phase we go through together.”
